Dan's Spotlight

1. Give Us a Quick Bio:

I am 18 years old and going into my second year of college at Eastern Connecticut State University, majoring in New Media Studies. I graduated Stonington High School last year and am hoping for a job in the cinematography field after my time at school.

2. What is your role at Charter Oak?

My role at Charter Oak for the summer is to scan in your precious memories and digitize them for you and your family to enjoy at home!

3. What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?

Being able to talk to customers about their past experiences and memories then seeing them come to life as I scan them.

4. What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?

Outside of work I enjoy going for hikes and enjoying the outdoors.

5. What is one thing you couldn’t live without?

Peanut Butter.

6. What is your biggest pet peeve?

When people wont own up to their own mistakes.

7. What is your favorite book or movie? Why?

“The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou”, it’s a riveting tale of sea exploration, loss, love, and adventure. Also it has Bill Murray as the main character.

8. What is something that would surprise people about you?

My birthday is on Christmas.

9. What is your most memorable moment since starting at Charter Oak?

Every day is as memorable as the last.

10. What is your favorite service provided at Charter Oak and why?

Slide scanning because the scanner used can scan almost two-thousand slides in an hour!
