Glory Days Background

Glory Days aims to help schools and individuals preserve old games captured on 8mm, 16mm film and videos that may be lying around and deteriorating in schools, basements or closets. Plus the added bonus of a contribution as a school fundraiser!

Ledyard High School in Ledyard, Connecticut was the first to use this venture as a fundraiser and with over 400 games ranging from 1965 to 2007. Thanks to Coaches Bill Mignault and Jim Buonocore, alumni can relive their moments on the gridiron and share such an exciting time of their life with current family and friends. If you are part of a school interested in fundraising with Charter Oak Scanning or own copies of games we are missing on VHS, 8mm or 16mm film then please contact rwebb@charteroakscanning.com.

We are very excited about this project as we wanted to be able to showcase our rich history and tradition of excellence in the football program at Ledyard High School. Now, alumni can purchase games from the  1965 season through the 2014 season to relive their moments on the gridiron and share such an exciting time of their life with current family and friends. I am certain it will be a great feeling for a former Ledyard football player to be able to show their children and grandchildren their feats on the football field during their high school years.
