Description
VHS-C tapes were popular for home movie recording in the 1980s and 1990s. Magnetic tapes like VHS and VHS-C can degrade in quality by up to 20% with in 10 years. Tapes stored in unideal conditions degrade in playback quality quickly. Converting VHS-C tapes to digital as soon as possible is recommended for preserving as much video quality as possible.
We can easily save your VHS-C Tape to a flash drive, Google Drive, Drop Box or DVD to save your memories.
When Transferring To:
Flash Drives: Tapes are transferred to Mp4 files and are given customized file names* so that you can easily find the video you want to play. When your videos are transferred to a flash drive you can hold up to 13 times as much video as you can on one DVD so that all your videos can be stored on one small device which you can put into your computer and TVs with a USB port.
Cloud Based Storage: We currently use Dropbox and Google Drive to transfer files to our customers who wish to use cloud based storage. If you have your own or another third party storage solution and would like us to share your files that way, please let us know.
Movie DVDs: Our Movie DVDs come with a customized printed title on both the DVD and the DVD case. The DVD can be played in a DVD player, Blu-Ray Player, Computer, X-Box and Playstation.
Data DVDs: Our Data DVDs will be set up just like our flash drives but you will need a disc reader to see your files. Benefit of the Data DVD is you cannot delete your files!
*Please make sure you have labeled your tapes with the title you wish to have in the file name or on your DVD!
